Micky Gluckstad was an East end prize fighter who took on the likes of Roy Shaw but not all of his battles were confined to the ring. He fought Jon Bindon after Bindon discovered he was having an affair with his partner Vicky Hodge.

Gluckstad was shot by Freddie Foremans partner in crime Alfie Gerrard, stabbed numerous times in numerous battles but lived to tell the tale. Earning a dishonest living as a con man, one of his more amusing frauds was selling large sections of Hackney Marshes to a property developer.
