John Morrison's is a gangland security boss and a former henchman of Arthur Thompson who ruled Glasgow until his death. Police once sent a report to the procurator fiscal which named Morrison as a suspect in the double murder of Joe 'Bananas' Hanlon and Bobby Glover in 1991.
The guns used in the gangland execution were later found along with stolen jewellery at the home of Morrison's parents-in-law, David and Bridget Allan.
Morrison was found not guilty of gun and jewellery charges but was later sentenced to six years for armed robbery. He then set up Provan Security in 2004.
